Concept, design and illustration for a cook book @spintoboy, echoing the humor that the french cook uses when cooking.

I have drawn with a pencil and then colored digitally, this series of characters, representing the cook, the graphic designer and… Beethoven. Style was inspired by the British illustrator Quentin Blake.

The book follows a square format of 21 × 21 cm. Ample space is left for illustrations and handwritten titles, creating a layout that feels airy, playful, and easy to read!

The titles are written by hand with a dip ink pen and then scanned, to echo the human friendly tone of the book.
